Originally constituted and organized in May 1861 and mustered into Federal Service during the Civil War, the 133rd Infantry Regiment has been serving the State of Iowa and the Cedar Valley since 1946 when it was Headquartered in down town Cedar Falls. Today, Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) 133rd Infantry Regiment and their Forward Support Company, Golf Company 334 Brigade Support Battalion support over 700 Soldiers, families and employers in dozens of Communities across Eastern Iowa.
