State and Federal Mission
The 133rd Infantry Regiment has been serving the State of Iowa and the Cedar Valley since 1946. We serve the people of Iowa and when called upon the United States.
Service
1-133d Infantry Regiment has a long lineage of serving at home and abroad. 1-133 responded to the Nations call in 2003 to serve in Egypt, 2005 to serve in Iraq, 2008 to respond to and help the people of Parkersburg, IA after an EF-5 tornado, 2010 to serve in Afghanistan, and most recently 2020 to serve in Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, and Afghanistan.
